CareMate Monitor is a reminder and shared-record tool. It is not a medical device, clinician, pharmacy, or emergency service.
What CareMate Monitor does
CareMate Monitor schedules reminders, records user confirmations, stores user-entered vital readings, tracks user-entered label and refill information, and makes selected updates visible to invited caregivers.
Vital readings
Enter readings exactly as displayed by the measuring device. CareMate Monitor stores and displays those entries for reference and sharing. It does not determine whether a reading is normal, accurate, urgent, or related to a medical condition.
What CareMate Monitor does not do
CareMate Monitor does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, recommend doses, calculate changes, interpret vital readings or symptoms, verify adherence, detect emergencies, or replace instructions from a clinician or pharmacy.
Medication information
Enter instructions exactly as they appear on the pharmacy label. A refill warning reflects only a quantity and threshold entered by the user; it does not calculate safe use or authorize a refill.
Missed or uncertain doses
Do not use CareMate Monitor to decide whether to take, skip, repeat, or change a dose. Contact a clinician or pharmacist for guidance.
Emergencies
CareMate Monitor is not continuously monitored and does not generate emergency alerts from vital readings. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on the app.
